Politics and Education

Who will win the race for the president of the United States that is the question. Since the George Bush presidency our educational system has failed. Education on the local, state, and federal level has being suffering for a long time. Our Kids have not recieved a quailty education since the No Child Left Behind Act was put into place. The year is 2008, and we have two new individual running for the presidency. I, personally think that they will let us down again win it comes to our children and education. Politics and Education just don't seem to mix.

Children An Endangered Species

If are kids don't start learning critical thinking skills, and how to process information then they are doomed. You can't put a child infront of the tv all the time and expect them to think. You must challenge a child mentally by making them read so they can strengthen their brain. I think its important for the youth to be put to the test with their real world skills. Alot of these kids don't have a clue about whats really going on in the community or anything. Current events is like a joke for them all they care about is hair styles, shoes, and video games. You must begin to test the child mentally inorder for the child to be successful, if not we all will parish for a lack of knowledge.
